For the past 25 odd years I (we) have created a genre like nothing else in the publishing world, with more than 500 photographically illustrated articles linking the subjects of sex, erotica, leisure, health and the arts appearing in specialised magazines throughout the world - and made a reasonably good living from it.
About a year ago I began the task of putting together the whole of my output in a more regularised form, the first part of which is already published, with some of the reminder already under way.
However , even as I write this letter events are rapidly overtaking me and I am in fact now in danger of falling well behind.
What we are looking at here is not just a collection of non fiction - photographically illustrated articles linking our unusual style of work as seen and experienced through the eyes of a real lifestyle, It is a highly unusual gathering together of unique material forming the basis for what might be described as a complete and unique genre in it’s own right .
It begins in 1940 as a simple autobiography- the first of three parts - weaving its’ way as it goes though a vast amount of interactive material both written and visual in completion of – not necessarily the end , but perhaps even the beginning. The long term purpose of this exercise has been to create a positive balance to set off against the often “dubious benefits of modern technology” that are now a permanent part of the new world order and to explore the essence of love and beauty-in all their many different forms and expressions.
I am now looking for someone to take hold of the whole of my substantial archives - and to do what you will with them according to your skill and practical experience. This is a neat and tidy collection not stuffed away in old carrier bags , but carefully stored in modern media files , boxes , on discs and sticks – as well as conventional storage devices – literally thousands of items covering a wide range of limited genre interests. Money is not my primary concern and I shall leave the financial details to whomever takes it on.
